World Public Relations Forum
The mission of the Global Alliance includes an aim to unify and link.
The mission of the Global Alliance includes an aim to unify and link the profession and one of the ways to do this is by promoting major events in which member associations, and the professionals they represent, can come together. That's the idea behind the World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) initiated in 2001 in Rome.
The World Public Relations Forum has become a unique opportunity to gather professionals with academics and students from across the world, to produce important outcomes for the advancement of the profession and share best practices. Previous examples include the Manifesto on Public Relations and Diversity issued at the 2nd WPRF held in Trieste, Italy 2004, or with the Letter of Brazil, presented after the 3rd WPRF in Brasilia, 2006.
As it keeps growing, the WPRF offers a unique networking opportunity for individual members of Global Alliance member Associations and provides one of the best forums for the discussion of issues affecting Public Relations. The focus on ethics and regulation standards in global Public Relations and Communication Management is also present at each of the Festivals.
