Global Alliance 2009 Annual General Meeting Details Announced
The Global Alliance is pleased to announce that the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) will host the GA's 2009 Annual General Meeting. The meetings will be held on June 5-6, 2009, prior to the CPRS annual conference in Vancouver.

7:00 p.m.: Delegate Dinner
- Saturday, June 6:
8:30-9:00: Welcome coffee
9:00-12:00: GA Wider Board Meeting
12:00-1:30: Lunch
1:30-3:00: GA Board and/or committee meetings
3:00-3:30: Break
3:30-5:30: GA AGM
6:30: Joint GA/CPRS Board Dinner

Conference Registration
Full CPRS conference registration is offered to official GA delegates at a deeply discounted rate of $450 Canadian dollars (approximately US$360 today), less than half the normal member rate. All GA official delegates must register by calling the CPRS National Office in Toronto at (416) 239-7034. Delegates are responsible for arranging their own travel and hotel bookings.

The Global Alliance is working hard to move its mission forward. This is a great opportunity to meet delegates from around the world and to help the GA as it sets forth initiatives and programs for the future. The 2008 AGM in London drew close to 40 delegates. We hope to see many more in Vancouver.
