The Global Alliance (GA), Striving to Lead The PR Profession Globally: Remarks From John Paluszek, Incoming GA Chairman
Vancouver, June 8 2009 - First, of course, on behalf of your newly-elected Global Alliance leadership team, I thank you for the vote of confidence you have just bestowed upon us. We believe that that vote of confidence requires a brief response in terms of what you have just bought into - that is, today's Global Alliance basic priorities and plans.
Later in the agenda, Dan Tisch will present the outcomes of a very robust strategic planning process which he and our Lugano colleagues led. But here at the very outset of a new term, we owe you a preliminary forecast on the future of The Global Alliance.
However, at this new beginning, also a caveat: The Global Alliance will succeed in its new priorities and plans only if you and the other GA member societies participate as fully and as frequently as you can.
