London, UK, December 09, 2009 - The first International History of Public Relations Conference is to be held in July 2010 in Bournemouth UK, bringing together academics, practitioners and research students.

Themes for the conference include alternative approaches to the history of public relations, the evolution of the field from its early beginnings, touchpoints of divergence - or convergence - with other disciplines such as HR, legal and corporate governance and seminal personalities and events that have shaped the discipline.
