Doha, January 17, 2010 - Jassim Fakhroo, media adviser to the Minister of Health and Director of the Communication and Media Department at the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), has been elected to the director board of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) a current member of teh Global Alliance.

Fakhroo joined the IPRA as member soon after he obtained his masters degree in journalism from the US in 1996, the SCH said yesterday. He had served as vice chairman of the IPRA’s GCC wing for two consecutive terms. He has made significant contributions to the organisation through a series of workshops, seminars and training programmes.
