BledCom International PR Research Symposium

BledCom Symposium is a traditional gathering of scholars and practitioners from all over the world who come together to explore and discuss on various themes and research in the field of public relations and related disciplines.

This year BledCom is divided into two parts for the first time - BledCom Academic and BledCom Corporate - and is adding more practical views to the contents. The leading theme of BledCom Academic is "Public Relations and Communication Management: The State of Profession", and the theme of the BledCom Corporate is "Public Trust in Organisations and the Role of Communication Professionals".

The conference is recognized internationally and therefore hosts prominent speakers from all over the world every year. BledCom 2012 will host, among others, two well-known public relations theorists, Mr. James E. Grunig and Mrs. Larissa A. Grunig from University of Maryland, USA, and communication professionals Jerry Swerling from USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism, USA, and Ansgar Zerfass from University of Leipzig, Germany, who will represent their opinions and conclusions on the suggested themes.
