CPRA Annual Conference 2013

PR 2020 - The future of Public Relations

CPRA's PR 2020 will talk about the future of public relations.

We will find out which competencies tomorrow's practitioners in Europe have to build, how measurement contributes to achieve our goals, how social media are changing the industry, what trends are emerging in internal communications and what challenges do these pose to differing cultural expectations across Europe. It will be especially interesting to learn about the role and importance of communications in the Olympic Movement. PR2020 will also present the recent ECM 2013 results.

Besides 4 croatian workshops and panel discussions, PR2020 will host prominent international speakers in the PR field as follows:

Jon Tibbs, a founder of JTA sports communication consultancy, is one of the most prominent communication experts in the Olympic movement and sporting world in general. He led and advised numerous successful bids for hosting mega sporting events such as 2008 Olympics in Beijing, Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics and 2017 World Athletics Championship in London. Some of JTA’s current clients are Manchester United F.C., Jordan Olympic Committee, Istanbul 2020 Olympic bid, Russia 2018 World Cup Local Organizing Committee and World Taekwondo Federation.
