“Who Has Seen the Future?” Melbourne WPRF report establishes GA engagement with corporate communications excellence

In one of the many highlights of the landmark November Melbourne World Public Relations Forum, the Global Alliance published -- and in a special panel session, examined -- “Who Has Seen the Future?”, an in-depth GA study of excellence in corporate communications/public relations.

 

The report, sponsored by Enel, is now available (with three additional relevant studies by the United Nations Global Compact and the International Integrated Reporting Council) on a new GA micro-site established as a platform of special interest to corporate communications leaders.

 

The Melbourne panel session, entitled, “Stakeholder-centered communications in global organizations”, featured presentations by executives of two of the nine companies analyzed in the report – Maria Cristina Milano, of Enel and Emilio Galli-Zugaro of Allianz. The study authors, GA past chairs Jean Valin and John Paluszek, provided context on the development and outcomes of the report.

 

The GA is exploring additional services for the global corporate communications community including additional sponsored cooperative research and presentation of “best practices” on the new micro-site.
