Digital Marketing Heavyweights Headline the Public Relations Society of America 2013 Digital Impact Conference in New York
The rapid technological advances that continue to transform and redefine the modern-day practice of public relations are making it harder than ever for public relations professionals to stay current on the latest strategies, techniques and trends they need to be successful — everything from big data, content marketing and social media integration to mobile marketing, scalable consumer engagement and customized online experiences.
Now in its sixth year, the Digital Impact Conference brings together some of the best and brightest minds in digital marketing and communications to provide practical, actionable advice that can be used immediately to inspire new ideas, deploy best practices, leverage new technologies and platforms and quantify program results. This year’s conference will take place June 27 and 28 at the New York Hilton.
Building on the conference theme, “Social Business: Strategies for Success,” search engine expert and Search Engine Land Founding Editor Danny Sullivan will deliver the opening keynote presentation, “The New Face of Public Relations: The Power of Search Engines and Social Media.”
Other featured presenters include Edelman Digital Senior Vice President Phil Gomes on “Digital Transformation: How Other Firms have Integrated Social Media”; TopRank Online Marketing CEO Lee Odden discussing “Attract, Engage and Convert: Get Ahead with Content Digital Marketing and PR”; Google+ Agency Outreach Lead Lindsay Rumer, speaking on ”Using Google+ for Businesses”; and Muck Rack CEO Gregory Galant discussing “Unleashing the Power of Social Media.”
Co-sponsored by PRSA Technology Professional Interest Section, the Digital Impact Conference also is one of the premier networking opportunities for digitally savvy communicators. Hundreds of public relations and communications professionals from all over the world — including professionals working in public relations agencies, corporations, the government and military, associations, nonprofit organizations and academia — attend the Conference each year to meet like-minded colleagues, share knowledge, uncover new opportunities and make valuable personal connections.
