Euprera to investigate “Communication Ethics in a Connected World” at annual Brussels academic congress this September
Euprera annual congress this year will focus on “Communication Ethics in a Connected World”. More than 60 papers and three panels have been accepted through peer-review by the scientific committee. Authors from across the continent and from overseas will explore the conference topic as well as additional aspects of the field at large. Moreover, two sessions will engage communication professionals by discussing the challenges of transparency and privacy in a connected world, and ethical issues in communication practices.
The congress, taking place in Brussels on September 11-13, will be articulated in paper sessions as well as plenary sessions, including keynote speeches by Ronald C. Arnett, endowed professor for scholarly excellence at Duquesne University in Pennsylvania, and Günter Bentele, professor for PR and Chair of the German Council for Public Relations Ethics in Germany.
Following the congress, PhD students are invited to attend the Euprera PhD Seminar: the annual appointment aimed to provide an international setting where doctoral students in PR and corporate communication can present their on-going work, get feedback from experts and peers and establish a valuable network for the future.
