The conference added to the progress being made for the integration and reporting of companies' financial and sustainability information on a regular basis. IIRC is a major initiative of the Prince's Accounting For Sustainability Program. Prince Charles, in addressing the conference attendees, expressed great support for the Integrated Reporting cause as an offset to "the disproportionate [current] emphasis on the short-term."
