GA Scholarships awarded

Global Alliance scholarships have been presented to four participants in the Executive Master of Science in Communications Management program at USI Università della Svizzera italiana. The scholarships are awarded annually to deserving MScom applicants living and working outside Switzerland.

 

GA Chair Dan Tisch, presented the scholarships for the upcoming MScom14 class during the graduation ceremony for MScom 12 on November 19, 2011. The Global Alliance Scholarships are awarded annually to deserving MScom applicants living and working outside Switzerland.

 

He said: "As communication becomes an increasingly global profession, the Global Alliance aims to support promising communicators who seek both international education and a global network,"

 

“Serving the strategic goals of the Global Alliance, the scholarship enables four participants to benefit from USI’s renowned international MScom program and its multinational faculty. We hope these scholars will help us advance the communications profession through involvement in our professional community in the years to come."

  • Mr. Rufat Abbasov, Head of Communications Department, The Central Bank of Azerbaijan Republic, Baku, AZ
     
  • Ms. Katja Linssen, Marketing Communications Officer, EMBO, Heidelberg, DE 
     
  • Ms. Irena Wiederspohn, Alumni Relations and Communications Manager, Mannheim Business School GmbH, Mannheim, DE 
     
  • Ms. Cristina Zhuang, Project and Commercial Director, Generis International Business Consulting, Beijing, CN

The program cooperates with the UCLA Anderson School of Management and is held in conjunction with Singapore Management University giving participants a unique opportunity to study side by side with Asian colleagues.
