Global Alliance announces winners of four international scholarships
November 14, 2011, Lugano, Switzerland - The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, the confederation of the world's major public relations and communication management associations and institutions, today announced the recipients of its annual scholarships to four participants in the Executive Master of Science in Communications Management program at Università della Svizzera italiana.
The Global Alliance Chairman, Daniel Tisch, will present the four scholarships for the upcoming MScom14 class during the graduation ceremony for MScom 12 on November 19, 2011. The Global Alliance Scholarships are awarded annually to deserving MScom applicants living and working outside Switzerland.
"As communication becomes an increasingly global profession, the Global Alliance aims to support promising communicators who seek both international education and a global network," said Daniel Tisch, Chairman of the Global Alliance. "Serving the strategic goals of the Global Alliance, the scholarship enables four participants to benefit from USI’s renowned international MScom program and its multinational faculty. We hope these scholars will help us advance the communications profession through involvement in our professional community in the years to come."

Executive MScom Program
The MScom Program is a part-time, postgraduate program for experienced communications professionals. Courses are conducted in English over a 21-month period and classes are held every other month for seven consecutive days. Based at USI Università della Svizzera italiana in Lugano, Switzerland, the MScom Program cooperates for a summer session at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, Los Angeles, one of the leading business schools in the US and, starting from January 2012, with the prestigious Singapore Management University (SMU). MScom students will spend three sessions together with their Asian colleagues in Singapore, Lugano and at the UCLA Anderson School of Management in Los Angeles.
