Global Alliance appoints new Chief Administrative Officer. Regina Pinna-Marfurt succeeds Nina Volles on April 15th
Lugano, Switzerland, March 25, 2013 – Regina Pinna will take over from Nina Volles as the Chief Administrative Officer of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management on April 15, 2013. Ms Volles has held the role since the establishment of the Global Alliance Center in Lugano, Switzerland in 2008.
Ms Pinna has been an independent public relations consultant with one of Switzerland’s top communication agencies. From 2001 until 2011 she worked for B-Source, of which she was Head of Corporate Communication and Media Relations. Ms Pinna’s other assignments have included working as a marketing and sales manager for a telecommunications company, as publisher of the Swiss women’s magazine “Annabelle” at Tamedia, and as a product manager at Credit Suisse.
“Today, we celebrate Nina Volles’ achievements as the founder of the Global Alliance Center, and we welcome Regina Pinna as a worthy successor and leader in her own right,” said Daniel Tisch, Chair of the Global Alliance. “With the Global Alliance’s activity, membership and finances at an all-time high, we are excited to begin a new chapter in our history.”
Ms Pinna will attend the GA Annual General Meeting and Nordic, Baltic and Russian PR Leadership Forum in Helsinki, Finland, on June 3-4, 2013. These events will be run in partnership with ProCom, the Finnish professional association.
