Global Alliance Bulletin n. 2 - March 2011

March 25, 2011

The devastating events in Japan have elicited shock and sympathy the world over. On behalf of its members and all of their public relations professionals, the Global Alliance has expressed its solidarity with the Public Relations Society of Japan as that society helps to address the formidable challenges facing its nation.

We urge our members to take any action that they feel will, in some way, begin to alleviate the pain and deprivation the people of Japan are now enduring. This may involve applying their professional skills in urging their fellow citizens to contribute to international relief organizations such as Japan Red Cross and, more directly, by making contributions to that organization or similar relief organizations.

On behalf of the Global Alliance and its members, the GA Chair John Paluszek expressed sympathy and solidariety to the Japan community through a message to the President of the Public Relations Society of Japan - Takeshi Mori -  and its members. Read the message
