Global Alliance keeps strengthening its international presence as it gets ready for the 2014 World Public Relations Forum
Thanks to the collaboration with partners from all over the world such as the newly established media partnership with Hagakure, leader Italy-based social media agency, the Global Alliance’s international outreach is now at the highest level in the GA’s history
Lugano, Switzerland, October 15 2013 – The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication management (GA), the confederation of the world’s major PR and communication management professional associations and institutions, has seen in the past months an unprecedented growth in its presence and influence in the international public relations and communication management community.
While this Global Alliance’s great achievement builds on its numerous activities and initiatives, a special credit goes to the 2012 edition of the World Public Relations Forum. This huge and successful event for public relations and communication management professionals saw the participation in Melbourne of more than 800 delegates from 30 countries. These numbers, together with the unanimous adoption of the Melbourne Mandate, have turned the 7th World PR Forum into the most successful edition of the program in Global Alliance’s history.
Looking forward, the Global Alliance has already started to work with Dircom, the Spanish Association of Business communicators, to make the 2014 edition of the World Public Relations Forum one of the largest global conferences in public relations and communication management. The next World PR Forum will be held in Madrid, Spain, on September 21-23 2014 with a main theme of “Communication with conscience” and even more participants than the last edition are expected to attend.
In the light of the key role that social media and communication play in the consolidation of its international presence, the Global Alliance is proud to cooperate in this areas with international partners such as Hagakure, a leader social media agency based in Italy which has recently become a GA’s media partner. Under this newly established media partnership Hagakure contributes with its knowledge and expertise in realizing the Global Alliance’s ambition of serving a worldwide community and being the global voice of public relations.
