The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management invites practitioners and academics from around the globe to join the Melbourne Mandate conversation, a dialogue on how communication is changing our world, our organizations and our profession – and how communication must change as a consequence.

The Global Alliance will regularly post drafts of the Melbourne Mandate conversation for public comments.
The final text will be used for debate at the World Public Relations Forum, in Melbourne, November 2012.

The results of the discussions will flow into a “Melbourne Mandate for Global Communication”, a consensus-based statement on the organizational and societal value of public relations and communication management in the world today.

In developing the Stockholm Accords at our 2010 Forum, we had participation from some 1000 practitioners and academics in more than 30 countries.
