Have your say on the future of PR and Communication Management: join the Melbourne Mandate conversation
The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management invites practitioners and academics from around the globe to join the Melbourne Mandate conversation, a dialogue on how communication is changing our world, our organizations and our profession – and how communication must change as a consequence.
The Global Alliance will regularly post drafts of the Melbourne Mandate conversation for public comments.
The final text will be used for debate at the World Public Relations Forum, in Melbourne, November 2012.
The results of the discussions will flow into a “Melbourne Mandate for Global Communication”, a consensus-based statement on the organizational and societal value of public relations and communication management in the world today.
In developing the Stockholm Accords at our 2010 Forum, we had participation from some 1000 practitioners and academics in more than 30 countries.
There are three ways to get involved:
1. Would you like to contribute with your comments?
Please leave your comments on our initial abstract today, to help guide the discussion.
2. Are you interested in participating more actively in one of the working groups?
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us which of the three areas of focus appeals the most to you.
3. Would you like to join us during the live debate on the Melbourne Mandate?
