April 6, 2011

Themes for the conference include alternative approaches to the history of public relations, the evolution of the field from its early beginnings, touchpoints of divergence - or convergence - with other disciplines such as HR, legal and corporate governance and seminal personalities and events that have shaped the discipline.

The conference will be held at the Centre for Public Communication Research (CPCR) at Bournemouth University, Poole, England.  More details can be found on the conference website, http://www.historyofpr.com/.
