Hot summer sun lights up participation and transparency at the centre of PRVA‘s Austrian Communication Day 2013

July 30, 2013

The first Austrian Communication Day celebrated a successful debut on June 19th 2013. Bathed by the summer heat 370 participants took up the invitation from the Austrian Public Relations Association (PRVA) to come together at the Park Royal Palace, Vienna.

Based on three keynote speeches - Sasha Lobo (Blogger), Marlon Marshall (Deputy National Field Director of the Obama Election-Campaign 2012) and Barbara Prammer (President of the Austrian National Assembly) -, four topics streams with different workshops and a closing panel, intensive discussions resulted under the general theme "participation and transparency".

Ingrid Vogl, PRVA-President, was very pleased with the debut: "The interest in the first Austrian Dommunication Day exceeded our expectations. We are delighted. The need for such an event, which integrates various communication disciplines, was demonstrated. The Austrian Communication Day 2014 is already in planning."
