A new mandate for FERPI as Patrizia Rutigliano takes on the leadership of Italy’s leading PR and communication management association

July 30, 2013

Patrizia Rutigliano, President of FERPI

Patrizia Rutigliano has been re-elected to lead FERPI (Italian Federation of Public Relations) for the next three years. Amanda Jane Succi has been appointed as Vice President, Patrizia Rivani Farolfi as General Secretary and Biagio Longo as Treasurer.  In the Executive Committee also Sergio Bruno, Rossella Sobrero and Mariapaola La Caria.

Patrizia Rutigliano, Director of Institutional Relations and Communication of Snam, was confirmed President of Ferpi. Re-elected during the Annual Meeting, held in Turin on July 5, Rutigliano will lead the association for the next three years, following the term 2011-2013.

Rutigliano held the position of Communications Director of Autogrill, Head of External Relations at Fastweb and Spokesman of the City of Milan.

Some of the issues in which the President aims to focus on in the next three years are: representation and contribution to the culture of PR, professional development

and training, the role of Ferpi as a connection between University and the job market, the renewed relationship between the center and the territory and, above all, a greater involvement of members in the association, efficient management of the Association and lobbying.

"The review of the governance and of the associative model represented a fundamental step in my first planned document and having fulfilled them is an important result for Ferpi" - Patrizia Rutigliano said. "But it would be short-sighted for the future of the Association to consider the process of renewal concluded, sanctioned by the new governance. We are facing a new beginning. Now it’s the responsibility of the new Board to understand and translate the strong need and desire for involvement of members, emerged from the listening campaign and debate among our associates."

For the 2013-2016 period, the new Executive Committee, will be composed of Patrizia Rutigliano as the President, Amanda Jane Succi as the Vice President, Patrizia Rivani Farolfi as the General Secretary,  Biagio Longo as the Treasurer; the members Sergio Bruno, Rossella Sobrero and Mariapaola La Caria (Delegate to the Coordination of Territorial Sections) as well as the Past President, Gianluca Comin.

The Board shall be composed of: Patrizia Rutigliano, Ruben Abbattista, Massimo Alesii, Marco Barbieri, Sergio Bruno, Vittorio Cino, Silvia De Blasio, Costanza Esclapon, Giulia Fantini, Elisa Greco, Mariapaola La Caria, Biagio Longo, Letizia Pini, Patrizia Rivani Farolfi, Mario Rodriguez, Rossella Sobrero, Amanda Jane Succi. Deputy Members will be Simone Dattoli, Joakim Lundquist, Luisa Piazza and Antonio Riva. Substitutes Members will be Antonio Deruda, Leonardo Nobler and Raffaele Paciello.
