Overhauling the Vatican: Pope Francis’ female appointee to speak at World Public Relations Forum in Madrid
The World Public Relations Forum announced two new speakers for its programme: Francesca Immacolata Chaouqui, appointed by Pope Francis as a member of the Papal Commission in charge of overhauling the financial-administrative structure of the Holy See, and José Luis Blasco, Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance at KPMG Spain. Chaouqui and Blasco are the latest professionals to join the Forum’s exciting speaker line-up, which includes industry leaders from all over the world with extensive experience at both national and international level.
Chaouqui’s experience in the field of public relations includes managing external relations and communications at the law firms Orrick Herrington and Sutcliffe, where she worked for five years, and Pavia e Ansaldo. Since early 2013 she has served as director of external relations and communications at Ernst & Young’s head offices for Italy, Spain and Portugal.
Jose Luis Blasco graduated in Chemistry from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and holds an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa. Blasco has garnered over 17 years’ experience in management and independent third-party corporate responsibility audits.
The eighth edition of the internationally-known World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) is organised by Dircom in partnership with the Global Alliance and will be held in Madrid on 21, 22 and 23 September 2014. Communication and public relations professionals from all over the world will attend this biennial forum to discuss key issues affecting the profession on the theme “Communication with conscience”.
