The PRIA announces dates and categories of its 2013 Golden Target Awards. Entries to open at the end of April

January 21, 2013

For over 30 years, the Golden Target Awards (GTAs) have provided the Public Relations Institute of Australia’s members with the opportunity to showcase their talent and expertise, whether they work in corporate or government organisations, consultancies, professional associations or the non-profit sector.  The awards nights around the nation are a celebration of excellence, peer recognition and industry networking.

Only financial PRIA members are eligible to enter the Awards. Entries in 16 categories are lodged online in a two-tier system and judged by volunteer panels, against set criteria. Winner, Highly Commended and Commended can be awarded in each category (but need not be awarded) at State Award Events and the National Gala Dinner.

The prestigious Educator of the Year and Campaign of the Year awards, both introduced last year, will be carried forward in 2013, and past winners are hosted as case studies on the PRIA website. Golden Target entries open on 30 April 2013. For more details please contact Julian Kenny, National Education Officer, on +61 2 9331 3346 or by email at julian.kenny@pria.com.au.
