Robert F. Kennedy Jr, GA Chair Daniel Tisch and leading author Kevin Carroll on stage at the IABC World Conference, Chicago, in June

April 27, 2012

Noted environmental activist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., best-selling author Kevin Carroll and Global Alliance Chair Daniel Tisch are among the speakers at the International Association of Business Communicators’ (IABC) 2012 World Conference, 24–27 June in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will talk about the role that natural resources play in our lives.  Kevin Carroll; author of three highly successful books, Rules of the Red Rubber Ball, What’s Your Red Rubber Ball? and The Red Rubber Ball at Work, will use lessons garnered from the spirit and dynamics of play to help delegates better understand how to enliven and enrich work lives, enhance innovation, and improve team dynamics and interpersonal communication.

In his session titled “Developing a 10-year communication master plan for your organization,” Global Alliance chair Daniel Tisch will focus on strategic leadership, how to identify key trends and best practices, how to engage audiences and stakeholders in the planning process and how to gain buy-in for recommendations—even from the toughest critics.

Each year, more than 1,400 business communication professionals from 40 countries gather at IABC’s World Conference. As well as speakers and networking opportunities, the conference includes the Gold Quill Awards Gala dinner and the Research Foundation Anniversary Luncheon.

As part of a partnership between IABC and GA, there is a 10% discount for GA members, who register using the code: GAatWC12.  For more details on conference sessions and to register online, visit http://www.iabc.com/wc.
