Singapore: IPRS Launches new diploma with Singapore Management University

The Institute of Public Relations of Singapore (IPRS) and the Lee Kong Chian School of Business at Singapore Management University (SMU) have announced a Graduate Diploma in Public Relations (GDPR) programme, Singapore's first and only graduate diploma in public relations.
Launching in February 2012, the GDPR was an outcome of an industry-wide survey conducted last year, asking PR practitioners what areas they would need to improve in order to progress in their careers. This was a match-made collaboration. IPRS' inputs on industry needs was incorporated into the SMU-developed curriculum. This part-time, 12-month programme is a subset of SMU's newly minted Masters of Science in Communication Management (MSc) programme.
