We are reaching out to our members to invite you to comment on the future of the Global Alliance and the global public relations profession as a whole.  We have developed a survey which will help us to evaluate individual as well as member needs.

2003-2008 Report Card
Prior to filling out the survey, we suggest that you review the 2003-2008 "report card" to give you an understanding of where we stand currently with our projects and initiatives. The report can be accessed on the GA web site at http://www.globalalliancepr.org/content/1/1/homepage under the Strategic Planning Survey Invitation announcement.

The Survey
•Time:  the survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete
•Access:  you can access the survey at http://www.keysurvey.com/survey/246239/2340/
•Deadline: April 25, 2009

•What we need from you: one official response per member organization. We encourage you to have a discussion at your next association board meeting to come to a consensus on the survey. We also encourage your individual members  to complete the survey.

•The results: the survey results will be presented at our June 6, 2009 annual general meeting  in Vancouver. 

Distribution to your members
Your members, as well as communication practitioners within the field, are highly encouraged to take the survey. I have prepared a letter, which you can also access within the survey invitation announcement  at: http://www.globalalliancepr.org/content/1/1/homepage (bottom of the page). This letter can be used to circulate to your members or to colleagues. With 77 GA  member associations, our potential reach is over 160,000 people.
