A wish for Norway -- from your Global Alliance colleagues

July 29, 2011

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, I want to express our deepest condolences to you, our peers and colleagues in Norway, following the horrifying events of recent days.

I know that countless members of our global professional community have been inspired by communications from Norwegian leaders and prominent citizens, who have expressed a determination to respond to hatred not just with vigilance, but also with a greater commitment to openness, dialogue, transparency and humanity. We join you in honouring the lives lost in this tragedy, and we celebrate the values for which you stand.

We look forward to our continued collaboration with Norwegian communications professionals in the years to come.

Yours sincerely,

Daniel Tisch, APR, FCPRS
Chair, Global Alliance for Public Relations & Communication Management
