World Economic Forum News

April 6, 2011

Attendees at the Global Alliance Stockholm World Public Relations Forum will recall the stirring address on public relations delivered by World Economic Forum Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab. Now comes a new, provocative and detailed WEF report suggesting that "the frequency and severity of risks to global stability have amplified, while the ability of global governance systems to deal with them has not."

The report addresses the causes rather than symptoms of global risk, devises coordinated response strategies and takes a longer term approach to assessment and response and it might well be read in the context of this observation: "Every human advancement or reversal can be understood through communication." -- Walter Annenberg
