World Federation of UN Associations seeks Advertising Partner for Go Beyond: A Climate Change Program

May 27, 2011

Go Beyond aims to bring together corporations and civil society to respond effectively to climate change and to raise awareness and resources on the individual level, ultimately leading to sustainable development. It is comprised of two main components:

  • Building Corporate Partnerships with environmentally conscious companies which will expand their involvement in climate change education and awareness programs as well as increase the visibility of climate responsible products on the market through the Go Beyond product line. Companies will provide either an "eco-friendly" product for the product line (to be co-branded with the WFUNA logo and marketed by both parties) or financial support to the program.
  • Providing Training Forums and implementation support for UNAs (our member organizations spread throughout the world) to develop, implement, and sustain local environmental initiatives

This program supports a complete transition from yesterday's unsustainable practices and attitudes to a new model which respects global development challenges.

WFUNA is a global nonprofit organization working for a stronger and more effective United Nations. Established in 1946, we represent and coordinate a membership of over 100 United Nations Associations and their thousands of members. We work to build a better world by strengthening and improving the United Nations, through the engagement of people who share a global mindset and support international cooperation - global citizens.
