Pursuant to the mission and the goals of the Global Alliance, the Board of Directors created the following eight specialized committees to assist in preparing its decisions.Their respective areas of responsibility are set out in the internal guidelines of the Board of Directors.
The committees report to the Board on their work and comments and submit their opinions, proposals or recommendations. The GA Chair and General Secretary are ex-officio members of all committees, and the GA staff serves as committee resources as determined by the General Secretary.
