NEW YORK, August 15, 2019 – PRSA, the nation’s leading professional organization serving the communications community, announced today that public relations leaders from around the world will participate in a featured session on Sunday, Oct. 20 at the 2019 PRSA International Conference. The Conference will take place from Oct. 20-22 in San Diego.

The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management is in its final planning for a key role at The Public Relations Society of America's 2019 International Conference to be held in San Diego, California, October 20th-23rd. International attendees can register at a current discount rate of $895.00 saving nearly 50%.

While Global Alliance has received excellent interest to host the WPRF 2022 we have extended the deadline for expressions of interest until 31st August 2019 following requests from our member organisations.
A formal in-person presentation will be required to be made by all interested parties in late October 2019.

8 July 2019 - Public relations professionals, academics and students from across the world will be heading to Auckland, New Zealand (Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa) for the 11th World Public Relations Forum to be held in October 2020.

The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management has announced that the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand (PRINZ) has won the bid to host their next forum.

CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public Relations, UK) recently held its Excellence Awards featuring 31 categories, including two new awards for Best Use of Influencer Relations and Outstanding new PR consultancy. This year’s awards were held in The Artillery Garden at the HAC on June 25th in London, UK with over 600 people attending.

The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management 17th Annual General Meeting was held on Saturday 6 April in São Paulo, Brazil.

The board of the Global Alliance was invited to participate at Aberje Trends Seminar promoted by GA Member Aberje – Brazilian Association for Business Communication on April 3 and 4 in São Paulo, Brazil. On April 4 there is a special panel on Global Trends in Communication presented by GA Board Members Alastair McCapra, Fiona Cassidy, Jane Gitau, José Manuel Velasco and Justin Green.
