Privit. After Russia attacked the Ukraine, there were plenty of refugees coming to CZ, 80 % of them were mothers with children. Czech Nation Television reacted promptly and started programming for kids in the Ukrainian language to teach them about the Czech Republic with the aim to make the situation more comfortable and understandable for them. TRENDS AND TRANSFORMATION MONTH: 13 – 14 MARCH 2024

After Lisbon, March 2024 sees the second Global Alliance European Regional Summit, which will be held in Madrid on 13-14 March 2024, to celebrate its fourth global Trends and Transformation Month

The European Communication Summit is emerging as the premier communication event at the European level. It will be a unique networking opportunity for leaders and members of European communication associations, to exchange insights and best practices that affect our profession.

The summit aims to address the evolving landscape of AI: impacts on internal & external Comms and strategies for combating fighting polarization from a public relations perspective.

It will also provide an opportunity to participate in a European level collaboration in PR and Communications management, which we will build together making us stronger and more effective.

This summit, organised by the European Regional Council of the Global Alliance for PR and Communications Management and Dircom, the Spanish leading association of Communication Directors, will bring together PR experts and leaders of major national communications associations from the whole of Europe.

First European Regional Summit held in Lisbon, Portugal

The Global Alliance European Regional Council hosted the First European Regional Summit on 17 March 2023 in Lisbon, Portugal to celebrate the Global Trends & Transformation Month, discussing opportunities and challenges for the Public Relations industry regarding Ethics, Sustainability, Innovation, AI & Metaverse and The Future of Work as well as the main Global Alliance projects and activities such as Global Alliance Membership Benefits, World Public Relations Forum 2023, World PR & Communication Awards and the Open Call to United Nations for a new Responsible Communication Goal.
