September is World PR and Communications Month

The world salutes the public relations and communication profession with a month-long celebration this September. Join us for our second annual World PR and Communications Month as we showcase the profession's impact on the organizations we lead across the globe.

To ensure the success of our celebration, we encourage you to participate by promoting World PR and Communications Month in your organizations and in your respective markets. Please find here a press release that you may dispatch to your local media networks to communicate the event.

Similarly, share with me stories on your various activities. These may be news bits on your general membership meetings, seminars and workshops, awards shows and competitions, case studies, and other industry activities that reveal the depth of our work and breadth of our reach. We will be happy to promote these on the Global Alliance website and social media assets. If you are hosting online events this September that you would like to open to our network, share details of these too. We will ensure the information reaches our members.

You may also publish content on your own social media channels to contribute to the conversation on PR and communication management. Showcase your members, feature their work, post some relevant quotes, and engage others in dialogue. We shall be sharing with you art card templates which you may use to give our collective efforts a unified look. Please, find here the playbook that lists the tactics we can implement in our respective markets. For all these posts, use the hashtag #PRCommsMonth and encourage your members to do the same.

We hope to announce this September other projects that Global Alliance is working on to support the advocacy and credibility of the profession, so keep an eye on our newsletter and social channels for updates.

We hope that you enjoin fellow members everywhere to celebrate World PR and Communications Month with us. Together we can work to advocate for the public relations and communication profession, grow the industry, and build new connections.

We are excited to receive your valuable contributions and support. Happy World PR and Communications Month!

Sincerely,
