Global Alliance to share worldwide insights at PRSA International Conference Special discounted rate for international delegates Board and North American Regional Council also to meet in San Diego

The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communications Management which represents over 280,000 professionals in 126 countries will be strongly represented at the Public Relations Society of America’s international conference in San Diego, California.

Set to be attended by up to 3,000 delegates, the conference is one of the largest such assemblies in the world each year and will take place from 20-22 October 2019 with a special discount available to overseas delegates.

A dedicated keynote session presented by Global Alliance will cover global trends and insights. Panellists will look at some of the challenges and opportunities that arise in developing and delivering international campaigns while remaining sensitive to different cultures, languages, traditions and values.

As well as engaging across the conference, the Global Alliance directors will hold a board meeting while the first meeting of the Alliance’s North American Regional Council will also coincide with the PRSA International Conference.

Along with pop-up presentations and networking at their meeting hub in the conference venue, Global Alliance will promote World Public Relations Forum 2020 to be held in Auckland, New Zealand in October 2020. Themed ‘Connecting with Courage’, the forum is being co-organised with Global Alliance by the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand (PRINZ).

In addition, Fiona Cassidy who is Chair of PRINZ will lead a session reflecting on the communications response to the March 2019 attacks that killed more than 50 people in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Keynote speakers at the PRSA International Conference include Oscar winner Richard Dreyfuss; journalists Bob Woodward and Laura Ling; Microsoft’s Frank X. Shaw; former President of Mexico Vicente Fox and former First Lady Marta Sahagún de Fox.
