Global Alliance´s Latin America Regional Council hosts meeting with Global Alliance President and CAO
Mr. Justin Green, President of the Global Alliance, and Mr. Mateus Furlanetto, CAO of the Global Alliance, attended the Global Alliance´s Latin America Regional Council meeting hosted by Mr. Hamilton dos Santos, Chair of the Regional Council and General Director of Aberje, Brazilian Association for Business Communications.
At the meeting, members of Global Alliance from Latin America and Regional Council members had the opportunity to discuss issues related to current and future projects of Global Alliance, Diversity & Inclusion, the impact of Covid-19 to communications, global versus local, education and training in public relations, accreditation, Global Capability Framework and the Global Public Relations and Communications Model to be launched on December 15th 2020.
Mr. Green observed that "after making several changes at the recent AGM to ensure greater cultural representation, the institution now has over 50 ambassadors representing Global Alliance around the world. We are a version of the United Nations, with a hugh array of different nationalities, cultures, societies and races coming together for one purpose".
The meeting was attended by: Ms. Gladys Diaz, Ms. Karen Garnik and Ms. Jescel Rolón, representatives of the Association of PR Professionals of Puerto Rico; Mr. Francisco Aylwin Oyarzún, from the Chilean Corporate Communication Forum; Ms. Ana Maria Soares, from the University of Medellín; Mr. José Pizarro, representative of the Council of PR Professionals of Argentina; and members of the Regional Council for Latin America Ms. Silvina Seiguer, McDonald’s Corporate Communications Director for Latin America South Division, Mr. Tato Carbonaro and Mr. Pedro Cadina, among other guests.
