Professor Anne Gregory is distinguished with two awards in Public Relations
Professor Anne Gregory, Former Global Alliance Chair (2013-2015) and Professor Emeritus from the Huddersfield Business School (UK) is distinguished with two awards in Public Relations this month. The ‘Atlas Award for Lifetime Achievement in International Public Relations’ from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and also the ‘2021 Outstanding Achievement Award’ from the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS).
The Atlas Award recognizes a public relations practitioner who has made extraordinary contributions to the practice and profession of public relations in an international environment over the span of her career.
The Outstanding Achievement Award from the CPRS was awarded jointly with Professor Amy Thurlow, from Mount Saint Vincent University (Canada) for their work to create the Global Alliance Capability Framework, a benchmark for how professionals in public relations and communication management perform at their best. It applies to individuals and groups, such as communication departments and the profession as a whole, scoping and defining the range of roles and responsibilities PR practitioners have.
With Global PR and Communications Month - #PRCommsMonth, we celebrate the critical work being accomplished around by our members and these recognitions awarded to Professor Anne Gregory highlights the excellence in our profession.
