First Global PR and Communications Month in Review

 

Global PR and Communications Month brings celebration and awareness to impact of the profession.

 

The Global Alliance for PR and Communication Management led the world in celebrating the Global PR and Communications profession during October. Throughout the month, 78 member organisations joined together to showcase and celebrate the critical work being done by public relations and communications professionals around the globe.

Throughout October, Global Alliance members, representing more than 320,000 professionals from 126 countries came together with one voice for professional advocacy, as highlighted by the hashtag #PRCommsMonth. Throughout the month, Global Alliance members showcased the accomplishments of these professionals and recognized research, curriculums, and certification programs that help public relations and communications professionals play key roles in their organisations.

Some highlights include:

 ·       Launch of Deep Talks with Global Public Relations and Communications leaders hosted by José Manuel Velasco. Interviews with Edelman CEO Richard Edelman and Prita Kemal Gani, Founder and CEO of LSPR Communication and Business Institute

·       World live session tour of research presented by the Corporate Excellence Centre for Reputation Leadership, Reputation and Intangible Trends, Approaching the Future

·       Career Assessment launched by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC)

·       Award-winning PR Campaigns case studies shared by the Polish Public Relations Association and Public Relations Institute of New Zealand

·       Asean PR Network shared Accreditation program for Asian PR Professionals

·       We Are Capable of So Much More, article by Jaelyn Li, Account Manager, The Pai PR & Communication Co., Ltd, China
