Latin America opens new Global Alliance office
The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management (Global Alliance) in partnership with the Brazilian Association for Business Communication (Aberje) announces the opening of a new office in São Paulo, Brazil, to provide liaison and communication support for the programs and activities in Latin America.
There are now five Global Alliance offices around the world, which include the head office in Lisbon, Portugal, and offices in Jakarta, Indonesia, serving the Asia Pacific region; Nairobi, Kenya serving the African Region and New York, USA serving the North American Region.
An office in Brazil will enhance the value and benefits the global association delivers to its thousands of members in the region. “In April 2019 I visited Brazil and Argentina for the Global Alliance AGM hosted by Aberje in São Paulo, Brazil. On that occasion, I was elected President of Global Alliance. Two years later I am delighted to announce the opening of the Latin America Office that will allow us strengthen our network across the region, working closer with our members,” said the President of Global Alliance and Hon. Life Fellow of Aberje, Justin Green. He expressed his gratitude to the Brazilian Association for Business Communication and in particular to Honourable Paulo Nassar and Sir. Hamilton dos Santos for their continued support and partnership, in providing these essential enhanced membership services.
“The creation of a Global Alliance hub in Brazil, aims to intensify network actions based on the existing principles of the Regional Council for Latin America. These days, the Council’s actions are focused on sharing strategic information between PR and communications associations and strength the role of the professionals from different countries in the region. The new office reinforces this mission of connecting, support and gather associations around the world”, says Hamilton dos Santos, director general of Aberje.
