University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh celebrates Global Alliance Accreditation
To celebrate the Global Accreditation of the Media Studies and Journalism Bachelor program, the Media Studies and Journalism Department of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) presented a webinar entitled "Celebrating Global Alliance Accreditation" on 28 July 2021. Over 150 faculty, lectures, professors, Dean and students attended the celebration.
Global Alliance President and CEO, Justin Green, and Global Alliance Academic Council Member, Ángel Alloza, presented the Global Alliance Accreditation to Prof. Jude William Genilo, Head of the Media Studies and Journalism Department, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh.
Global Alliance Accreditation Program fulfils Global Alliance´s mission of supporting and advancing high standards in education and training.
ULAB is a research-intensive University, with multiple research opportunities for its faculty members and students. ULAB has a progressive and continuing education that is personalized, interdisciplinary, technologically updated and centered on active learning. ULAB upholds a curriculum that is flexible, industry specific and balanced in terms of theory and practice. A curriculum that is grounded in both global and local contexts.
ULAB offers seven apprenticeship programs that had been created to help students acquire skills and knowledge required to work in their professional fields such as printed media, radio, TV, journalism, public relations, photography, animation and cinema.
