Global Alliance´s board attend Kuala Lumpur International PR Conference KLIP23 in Malaysia
The Kuala Lumpur International PR Conference KILP 23, organized by World Communications in partnership with the Institute Public Relations Malaysia - IPRM, ASEAN Public Relations Network – APRN and the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management took place on 8th November 2022 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Jaffri Amin Osman (Malaysia), chair of the Global Alliance´s Asia Pacific Regional Council and Managing Director of World Communications Malaysia hosted the Global Alliance board and hundreds of PR professionals who attended the Conference. This year’s theme was The Shifting Nature of 2023 Public Relations – Community Influencers we all are. Global Alliance´s President & CEO, Justin Green, was the keynote speaker speaking about country branding and the use of influencers by global brands.
Three Global Alliance board members were invited to share their experience regarding Crisis Communication by the Secretary of Global Alliance, Fiona Cassidy (New Zealand), measurement and evaluation in PR by Ana Pista (Philippines) and ESG and the Sustainable Development Goals by Peter Mutie (Kenya).
From the Global Alliance Asia Pacific Regional Council there were presentations from Prita Kemal Gani (Indonesia) about the gender gap for Woman in the business and political environments, PR in the Metaverse era by Dr. Nutthaboon Pornrattanacharoen (Thailand), Ruby Wan (Hong Kong) talked about the trends among younger generation in Hong Kong and Norman Agatep (Philippines) spoke about the role of influencers.
During the Conference, Justin Green, Fiona Cassidy and Jaffri Amin Osman received the Masters Communications and Bussines from the London School of Public Relations. Justin Green was also awarded a Lifetime Fellowship and Ambassador for the Public Relations Institute of Malaysia.
