Global Alliance Board Advances Strategic Agenda at In-Person Meeting in Sharjah, UAE
The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management held its in-person Board Meeting in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, from 13–15 November 2025, gathering senior leaders to advance strategic initiatives and strengthen the Alliance’s global impact.
The meeting brought together 14 Board Members and the CAO representing Australia, Brazil, Czech Republic, France, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Nigeria, Philippines, Spain, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, and Turkey.

The meeting was hosted by the University of Sharjah, marking a significant step in expanding regional engagement and collaboration within the global communication community. During the gathering, the University of Sharjah formally joined the Global Alliance and committed to serving as an academic partner to support future educational and research initiatives.
Global Unveiling of WPRF 2026 Abuja
A highlight of the program was the global unveiling of the Global Alliance´s World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) 2026, which will take place in Abuja, Nigeria, co-hosted by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). The announcement reinforces the Alliance’s commitment to elevating diverse voices and fostering global dialogue across the profession.
