The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management (Global Alliance) in partnership with the Promise Foundation announces the opening of a new office in Gurugram, India, to provide liaison and communication support for the programs and activities in India and Middle East.

The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management presented to its founder and first chair, Toni Muzi Falconi, the Global Icon Award in grateful recognition for his enduring commitment and visionary guidance in unifying the Public Relations and Communication profession worldwide.

The award was presented by Justin Green, President and CEO of Global Alliance, during the 80th Birthday celebration of Toni Muzi Falconi on July 22nd 2021, at the Palazzo delle Stelline in Milan, Italy. A series of speeches and videos highlighted Facolni´s Public Relations activities in the organizational, academic and societal environments.

The international launch of the report "Approaching the Future 2021: Trends in Reputation and Intangible Asset Management" will be streamed on Tuesday, July 27th at 16:00 hrs (WEST). The online presentation will feature a conversation between Justin Green, President & CEO of Global Alliance, Miguel López-Quesada, President of Dircom Spain & Fundacom and Ángel Alloza, CEO of Corporate Excellence – Centre for Reputation Leadership in a panel discussion on the present and future of intangible asset management, especially emerging trends in reputation, sustainability, ethics and transparency.

Last year’s inaugural campaign received an incredible response worldwide with the participation of our professionals in this important topic within our organisations and society.

Miguel López-Quesada, President, and José Fernandez-Álava, General Director, of Dircom – Spanish Association of Communicators and Fundacom - Foundation for the promotion of communication in the Spanish and Portuguese speaking world, met Justin Green, President & CEO of Global Alliance, in the Madrid Summit where they discussed about the advancement of the PR & Communications profession in the Ibero-American countries.

Justin Green, President & CEO of Global Alliance, was appointed Global Ambassador and Honorary Life Fellow by the Corporate Excellence - Centre for Reputation Leadership. The honour was presented by Ángel Alloza, CEO of Corporate Excellence - Centre for Reputation Leadership.

In line with best corporate governance and compliance practices Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management has announced its new board appointments for 2021-2022. Following the election of new Board members at the 19th AGM in May, incoming and current board members were appointed to Chair and join steering groups in June and will take up their roles from 1 July.

The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management has created the position of Chief Executive Officer. The current President, Justin Green, is taking on the additional role of chief executive with a focus on delivering the programme of activity, ensuring the flow of income and managing stakeholder relationships. He will be working with Mateus Furlanetto who continues his role as Chief Administrative Officer.

José Manuel Velasco, Immediate Past Chair of Global Alliance, recorded a video focusing on intergenerational dialogue as part of Global Alliance´s Diversity & Inclusion month. Based on a variety of data, including the Generation Power Index, Velasco highlights the main concerns impacting society in economic and social factors.
