Public Relations & Communications
The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communications Management has dedicated April 2020 to a virtual ‘Education & Training Month’ as part of our continuing support of the profession worldwide during the COVID-19 crisis.
Continuing education and training in public relations and communications plays a vital role in the services offered by our members worldwide. That is why the Global Alliance is inviting all our members to join in with their own initiatives.
When you run webinars or podcasts during the month of April that are educational and training in nature, please make them open to Global Alliance members worldwide and use the hashtag #GAETM on twitter to let practitioners around the world know they are available.
In addition to these resources, the Global Alliance is providing an extended and enhanced free program of over 30 sessions hosted by Public Relations & Communications experts around the world. The online platform is powered by CIPR – the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
With contributions from senior practitioners on six continents, the opening session was kicked off by José Manuel Velasco Guardado from Spain on 1 April. Continuing with sessions from Brazil, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Kenya, New Zealand, Nigeria, Peru, Portugal, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the UK and the United States.
Full details of the schedule are posted on the Global Alliance website and promoted on twitter from @Global_Alliance. Please help share these insights and knowledge among your own membership to enhance our global profession
