World PR & Communications Month Wrap-Up: Reflections, New Leaders, and Award-Winning Campaigns

Dear Members,

As we conclude our celebrations for World PR & Communications Month, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your enthusiastic engagement and contributions throughout this special time. Your passion, creativity, and commitment to the PR practice have truly made this month a meaningful festival of recognition and inspiration.

Thank you for sharing your voices, stories, and insights, and for demonstrating unity, dialogue, and trust within our global community. Your active participation has reinforced the enduring spirit of innovation, collaboration, and leadership that defines our profession.

As we move forward, we hope the connections made and the knowledge shared during this month will continue to inspire you in your professional and personal journeys. Together, let us carry the momentum of World PR Month into our daily work, championing the positive force of public relations and communication across borders and generations.

Among the recent activities and content shared during World PR & Communications Month, we highlighted members’ reflections on this year’s theme, “Fostering Collaborations.” We also introduced our new board members—Claire Ryan, Dr. Ike Neliaku, Adrian Cropley, Prof. T. Serra Görpe, and Pavel Vlček.

In addition, the live webinar Spotlight on Excellence: World PR & Communication Awards 2024 showcased outstanding campaigns, including Effaclar Speed Run (Winner – Consumer/Customer Relations) and Under the Candle Podcast (Finalist – Not-for-Profit Campaign) from the Czech Republic; This is Good News, but… A Nuanced Story of the Reef from Australia (Winner – Media Relations & Influencers Campaign); and Re.Bag.Re.Use. from South Africa (Winner – ESG Campaign).

Wishing each of you continued success and fulfillment in all your endeavors.

With warmest regards,

Noella Mutanda,

Chair, World PR & Communications Month
