Global Alliance Holds In-Person Board Meeting and AGM in Venice
The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management convened its in-person Board Meeting and Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 15–16 in Venice, Italy. The meetings were followed by the European Communication Summit hosted by Global Alliance European Regional Council and InspiringPR conference, hosted by Ferpi – the Italian Federation of Public Relations.
Key discussions during the two-day meeting focused on Responsible Communication, enhanced Association Outreach, and expanding University and Training Engagement. These themes reflect the Global Alliance’s ongoing commitment to advancing ethical, inclusive, and forward-thinking communication practices worldwide.
The gathering brought together 13 Board Members and the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) representing a diverse array of countries, including: Ireland, France, USA, New Zealand, Bangladesh, Peru, Malaysia, Philippines, Brazil, Finland, Portugal, Canada, India and Germany.
This international representation underscores the Global Alliance’s truly global footprint and collaborative approach to strengthening the communication profession.
