The European Council of Global Alliance met in Helsinki, Finland on 8-9 June 2023. The meeting continued the tradition of face-to-face meetings started in Munich in October 2022 and followed by a meeting in Lisbon in March 2023. European delegates from Norway, Estonia, Portugal and France were hosted by the Finnish Association for Communication professionals, ProCom, CEO Jarno Forssell and Kia Haring, a member of GA board and the European Council.

This Award is a recognition given by Yomi Badejo-Okusanya, President of APRA - African Public Relations Association, the umbrella body for the practice of Public Relations in Africa with over 17 member national PR associations and 5 affiliations within Africa and across the globe.
The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management 21st Annual General Meeting was held on Monday 15th May in Lusaka, Zambia, during which the board members were elected to lead Global Alliance for the next two years. During the meeting, four leading PR professionals were elected to the board. Irene Lungu Chipili from Zambia, Peter Mutie of Kenya, Wole Ademolukun from Nigeria and Rene Dailen Benecke from South Africa were elected to the board. Mr. Justin Green from Ireland was re-elected as the President for a third two-year term.
Global Alliance´s President and CEO, Justin Green, presented the opening remarks of the African Association of Public Relations APRA Annual Conference which is taking place in Lusaka, Zambia, from May 16th to 19th, 2023. The theme of this year´s conference is CREATIVE AFRICA: Exploring the PR potential of Africa as an emerging economic and reputation powerhouse.
Global Alliance´s President and CEO, Justin Green, met the Minister of Information and Chief Government Spokesperson of the Republic of Zambia, Hon. Chushi Kasanda MP in Lusaka, Zambia on 12 may 2023. During the meeting, Justin Green articulated the crucial role Global Alliance plays in enhancing the profession globally. Later, Mr. Green undertook interviews with national and local radio and TV stations where he continued advocating the case of Global Alliance and APRA including making the national headline of ZNBC, Zambia’s national TV broadcaster.
